Frequently Asked Questions

Why "Para-Prayers"?

The name "Para-Prayers" comes from the material we use in making our rosaries. We use paracord, otherwise known as parachute cord, which is an extremely durable rope made from nylon with multiple intertwined strands that provide immense strength relative to the size of the cord. Paracord was originally an invention of the U.S. Military to serve as cord for parachutes and since has been developed to different sizes and weights, making it extremely versital.

What is the production timeline?

All items are custom made upon order. Due to this, production time will vary depending on whether material needs to be ordered. Items are expected to ship within 7-14 days of order with the shipping time added on to that. There is a potential it will be shipped quicker than the processing time, but not guaranteed.

Does Para-Prayers offer a warranty?

We have a lifetime warranty, repair or replace, policy. This means for the lifetime of your product if it breaks and you reach out, we will repair or replace (if repair is not possible) once per item.

To be eligible for this warranty, your item must have been damaged through normal wear and tear. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start, you can contact us at paraprayers.totustuus@gmail.com. Please note that the warranty will require you to send proof of damage over email to Para-Prayer before the repair or replacement can occur.

If your warranty is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a replacement or repair, will not be replaced.

You can always contact with any question on returns at paraprayers.totustuus@gmail.com.

Can I order a custom item not listed in products?

Absolutely! Know that it will come at an upcharge and will most likely have a slightly longer processing time due to the need to order unique pieces/material. More information can be found on the "Custom" page

Are bulk orders allowed?

Unfortunately at this time orders exceeding five rosaries of any size will not be accepted, you will receive a full refund and apology over email if ordered.

How do I pray the Rosary?

We have a whole page to help with that! Mysteries included!

What exactly is paracord?

Paracord, formally known at "parachute cord", is a type of rope that, in its orignial use, is used with parachutes and other survival situations such as rock climbing (that is the same cord used in our Survivalist Rosary). As for all the others, paracord comes in many different weight and diameter options from which we order our paracord for the other rosaries that we create.

What type of knots are used to make the "beads"?

Triple and quadruple overhand knots are used to make the beads, best example is to look at The Survivalist to see exactly what the knots look like.

What is "Totus Tuus"?

"I place this moment, like all other things, in the hands of the Mother of my Master: Totus Tuus. In these same motherly hands I leave everything and everyone with whom my life and my vocation have brought me into contact." -John Paul II

Aside from being a major theme of Pope St. John Paul II's papacy, totus tuus orignially comes from St. Louis de Montfort who famously wrote, "Totus tuus ego sum et omnia mea tua sunt…I am totally yours and all that I have is yours" focusing on devotion to Christ through his Blessed Mother.
